John Holland Seymour Whyte Joint Venture (JHSWJV) have been successfully awarded the contract for the design and construction of Sydney Gateway Stage 1 and Stage 3. The project includes 5 kilometres of new road, 16 bridges and close to 3 kilometres of active transport links.
Benefits of the project include increasing road capacity at Sydney airport, both Domestic and International Terminals. As well as assisting traffic links to Port Botany and St Peter's interchange. JHSWJV will support more than 4,000 jobs over the life of the project.
**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Communications/Digital Media Officer to play a key role in coordinating the development and delivery of high-quality external communications, to inform the community and stakeholders about Sydney Gateway. Day to day tasks and activities will include but not be limited to;
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Coordinate development and delivery of high-quality external communications, to inform the community and other stakeholders about our construction works.
- Develop proactive internal communications to promote our values and positive behaviours
- Produce a wide range of communications materials tailored to meet a variety of audiences, including monthly and quarterly community newsletters, website updates, and fact sheets.
- Ensure communications meet style and branding guides, approval and contractual requirements, and delivery targets
- Develop and maintain a forward program of positive editorial and media opportunities
- Liaise with graphic designers to produce engaging and effective communication materials
- Liaise with external organisations/suppliers to ensure collateral production meets project's time, quality and cost needs
- Help deliver stakeholder, community and internal events as required
- Develop and coordinate social content
- Update and monitor digital channel marketing and communications
- Assisting the Community Team members as required
**What You'll Need to Succeed**:
- Degree in Communication, Digital Media, Arts or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in a similar role highly desirable
- Knowledge of InDesign highly desirable
