Job description:
Our client is one of Australias oldest established workwear companies. They prioritise themselves with supplying industries such as Mining, Oil and Gas with high quality workwear and PPE. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts / Office Manager to join their team. This role encompasses a variety of accounting and office management tasks to ensure the operations run smoothly.
- Monthly financial reporting and analysis
- GL reconciliations and journals, preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Liaising with external accountants to execute their instructions
- Processing Accounts Payable invoice entries
- Managing Accounts Receivable reconciliations
- Preparing AR & AP statements, maintaining filing systems and conducting credit checks
- Conducting daily bank reconciliations
- Managing office supplies and equipment, overseeing office maintenance
- Managing the company filing and archiving system
- Assisting in tender submissions to support business initiatives
Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration and rapport
- Proficiency in office software, including email and spreadsheets
- Relevant experience in accounting and office management, along with a positive attitude and professional demeanour
