Gardens and Grounds Maintenance Role
About the Opportunity:
We have a fantastic chance for a dedicated Gardens and Grounds Maintenance professional to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for carrying out general household/commercial garden and lawn maintenance work across the Illawarra region.
You will provide support to the Team Leader in building positive team relationships that reflect our values. Additionally, you will help supported employees develop new skills and achieve their employment goals.
Your tasks will be aligned with instructions from Team Leaders, and you are expected to demonstrate a positive can-do attitude.
* General gardening, lawn care, and grounds maintenance
* Supporting Team Leaders in fostering positive team dynamics
* Assisting supported employees in skill development and achieving employment objectives
* Completing tasks according to Team Leaders' instructions

About You:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Background in property maintenance or garden maintenance, lawn and weed identification as well as extensive knowledge of relevant equipment operation
* Physical fitness to meet manual handling requirements
* Sound communication and negotiation skills
* Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise work of a small team
* Hold a valid driver's licence
* Confidence in towing a trailer
* Hold a current NDIS Worker Check or be willing to obtain
