An exciting opportunity is currently open for an **Assistant Supply Manager **to join the Stores and Supply Department at Warringal Private Hospital on a **Permanent Full Time** basis.
**About the Role**
In this role you will participate and assisting in managing all aspects of the supply function of the hospital. Your key duties will encompass:
- Assisting in organising the effective management of the supply functions of the Hospital
- Ensuring procurement is undertaken in line with hospital and corporate purchasing procedures
- Continually ensuring stock supply chain is maintained with suppliers,
- Assisting in maintaining appropriate quantities of stock to meet the needs of the hospital
- Providing information and assistance along with a high level of customer service to all customers,
- Regularly working with the accounts department to ensure quick and prompt payment of invoices.
This role is responsible for the management of a small team of ward based supply officers as well as engaging in the management of staff (when the Stores Manager is not present) to ensure that the store is operating effectively, including but not limited to training and daily operational management.

- Advanced problem-solving capability with a focus on continuous improvement and the ability to question processes and initiate and implement ideas to reduce costs and mitigate supply risks

- Hospital experience and broad knowledge of supply/ inventory related functions within the health care industry
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or eligibility for membership to CIPS (Chartered Institute Purchasing Services)
- Computer literacy across the Microsoft Office suite
