The IT Manager position entails overseeing the governance and management of digital services, ICT, and information systems throughout their lifecycle to support strategic and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Planning - Develop and execute medium- to long-term IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Technology Innovation - Lead planning and implementation of emerging technologies including AI.
* Policy Oversight - Ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
* Team Management - Lead the IT Infrastructure & Security team, promoting collaboration and prioritization.
* Resource Management - Manage infrastructure provisioning and vendor performance.
* Infrastructure Operations - Design, maintain, and monitor IT infrastructure, including disaster recovery and service reliability.
* Cybersecurity - Execute cybersecurity strategy, monitor threats, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, IT, or a similar field.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in the field.
* Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies preferably in relevant sectors.
* Specialized IT competencies in infrastructure, networks, cloud computing, and architecture.
* Strong collaboration, teamwork, and relationship-building skills across multiple levels and functions.
* Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* People management and leadership skills, along with professional standards of planning and budgeting.
* Demonstrated acumen and passion for technology. Comprehensive knowledge of best-practice IT governance.
