Procurement and Contracts Officer - Based South of the River
This Global services company has a large contract with an organisation South of the River.
The Procurement Category Specialist is responsible for the end to end procurement for the assigned portfolio and will coordinate and deliver sourcing and contract management, ensuring value.
You will (with assistance) develop contracts and manage assigned contracts through the contract life cycle. You will support the Category and Contract Leads in effective supplier relationship management, dispute resolution, and subcontractor performance management, with a keen focus on driving contract management excellence within the portfolio and minimising risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual and commercial matters
- In collaboration with Legal; develop, negotiate, implement and manage contracts in their portfolio
- Liaise with internal customers and the legal department on the preparation of appropriate vendor terms, conditions or agreements for publication to the market
- Execute source to contract process including sourcing strategy, preparation of tender pack, facilitation of tender process, negotiation, recommendation and award
- Deliver effective contract management for contracts, including efficient dispute resolution and contractual claims management whilst building and managing relationships with strategic partners.
Skills/ Competence
- Supplier performance management
- Commercial and contract negotiation skills
- A key understanding of facilities management, building and site management, asset management and/or technical experience in a similar field
- A good understanding of executing end to end procurement
- Demonstrated experience in effective contract management, particularly KPI management.
This role is on offer on a salaried basis and pays around $110 - $115k per annum.
