Lead a Critical Portfolio in the Goldfields Region

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an accomplished Regional Manager to lead our operations across the Goldfields. This senior leadership role is pivotal to our organisation and will be responsible for the performance, growth, and strategic direction of our Goldfields Region portfolio. The position is based primarily in Kalgoorlie on a residential or FIFO basis with regular travel to regional sites.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will hold full operational oversight of MINPROVISE's Goldfields activities, including fixed plant shutdowns & maintenance, sustaining capital works, brownfield upgrades, and minor works across multiple major mining operations.
This role demands a leader capable of navigating complex, high‑risk environments while maintaining absolute focus on safety, execution excellence, and client confidence. You will be a visible presence across sites, ensuring alignment between operational delivery, workforce capability, and commercial performance.
Key Leadership Accountabilities
* Provide end‑to‑end leadership of Goldfields shutdowns and minor projects from planning and resourcing through execution, demobilisation, and post‑project review.
* Serve as the senior escalation point for Goldfields clients, fostering long‑term partnerships through consistent delivery, transparency, and strategic value creation.
* Lead and develop a geographically dispersed workforce across FIFO and residential arrangements, including Superintendents, Supervisors, and site leadership teams.
* Drive workforce capability, succession planning, and leadership development to support sustained regional growth.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams across Engineering, Maintenance, Access Services, and Project Services to ensure integrated, efficient delivery.
* Maintain strong commercial oversight, ensuring disciplined cost control, productivity optimisation, and margin performance.
* Maintain a high level of site presence to ensure operational control, engagement, and safety leadership particularly during critical shutdown periods.
Operational Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational guidance to site leaders responsible for technical execution during fixed plant shutdowns.
* Support the development and implementation of operational improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and value delivery.
* Maintain forward visibility of regional work demand and proactively align planning and resource allocation.
* Oversee effective management of all site‑based assets across pre‑ and post‑work phases.
* Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring services are tailored to site‑specific requirements and deliver measurable value.
* Coach and mentor site leadership teams, upholding a professional, approachable, and high‑performance culture.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* SMP Trade or Engineering background (highly regarded).
* Experience working within the mining sector, including exposure to shutdowns and maintenance activities.
* Experience across Gold, Nickel, or Copper operations is desirable, and WA Goldfields experience is highly valued
* Leadership experience overseeing upgrade, overhaul, or technical project work on fixed plant mining assets.
* Sound understanding of HSE principles and compliance requirements.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build effective working relationships.
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
* Comfortable using operational systems and digital tools.
* Must hold a valid and recent Police Clearance
