Key Account Manager Job Description
As a key account manager, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for developing and managing long-term relationships with existing and new customers, identifying opportunities to enhance their experience and optimize energy consumption.
This role requires a strong understanding of the commercial building services industry, including knowledge of contracting and tendering procedures, as well as exceptional relationship-building skills. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to leverage existing relationships and maximize selling efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification in a related field, previous experience in account management, and strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills. They will also possess a good knowledge of Australian Standards within the industry and be able to analyze customer satisfaction data to develop corrective actions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across all levels of the account.
* Develop and execute plans to enhance customer experience and identify new business opportunities.
* Prepare service offer contract estimates, documents, and proposals.
* Assist with after-market project estimates, proposals, and tender responses.
* Manage the sales process from end to end to ensure customer expectations are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
* Previous experience in account management.
* Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to analyze customer satisfaction data and develop corrective actions.
* Good knowledge of Australian Standards within the industry.
