We specialise in the manufacture and supply of emergency refuge chambers, safe havens, disaster shelters and plant grow chambers, as well as a range of electronic equipment, remote monitoring, tracking and communications technologies that allow full integration in heavy industrial applications.As the Inventory Manager for both MineARC Systems and Pneumatics Direct you will be part of the Executive Team and play a pivotal role in the strategic direction of the company and set an example for the standards of MineARC and Pneumatics Direct.Pneumatics Direct has established a position as an industry leader in the Australian compressed air market, offering only the latest and most innovative pneumatic technology.
Our aim is to bring our customers technical expertise, superior customer service, unrivalled project management and unlimited access to the most advanced pneumatic equipment available at highly competitive industry prices.This role is a full time office based position in Kewdale reporting into the General Manager.
The Role Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and report progress to senior managementDevelop and implement a comprehensive inventory and purchasing strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plansOversee external and internal transportation, distribution, and logistics activities to ensure delivery in full, on time to internal stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainabilityManage inventory / purchasing output, including supplier performance and selection, negotiation of contracts, and ongoing supplier relationship managementEstablish and implement inventory management policies and identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and operational improvements across the DepartmentCollaborate with all areas of the business to ensure production plans and schedules have required stock for deadlines and customer requirements to be metEnsure compliance with industry regulations and standards and create and maintain company policies, procedures and processesEnsure a clean and well organised work environment, conducting periodic audits of inventoryPerformance managing members of the team including conducting consults, probation, and yearly performance reviewsRecruitment, mentoring and training of Purchasing /Inventory, Logistics and Warehouse staff and ensuring training plans are implementedMaintain and drive a positive work environment in line with MineARC and PD corporate values.
