Would you like to work on innovative audio technologies that keep people safe in the world's harshest industrial environments? At Sensear, your work will make a difference.
We're looking for a talented and motivated Electronics Engineer to join our growing team. Whether you're a high-performing mid-level engineer or a seasoned professional ready to take on broader responsibilities, this is your chance to work on cutting-edge products that push boundaries!
Our Mission
At Sensear, we are revolutionizing communication in high-noise industrial environments, delivering innovative headset solutions that combine advanced audio technology, seamless connectivity, and exceptional user experience.
Why Join Sensear?
At Sensear, you'll have the opportunity to:
Innovate: Design advanced electronics and hardware systems that power world-leading industrial communication products.
Grow: Build deep expertise in areas like RF, power electronics, audio systems and designs that comply with intrinsically safe design standards. You'll be hands-on across the entire development lifecycle, with real ownership and impact.
Collaborate: Work in a focused, high-performing team that blends hardware, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing expertise to bring complex products to life.
Make an Impact: Your work will directly contribute to the safety, productivity, and connectivity of workers in some of the world's harshest environments.
What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in the design, development, and validation of electrical systems for Sensear's headset platforms. As part of the engineering team, you will:
Design schematics and guide PCB layout for high-reliability, compact embedded hardware systems.
Develop and test hardware integrations with communication devices such as 2-way radios and mobile phones (wired and wireless).
Prototype, characterise, and debug designs to ensure product performance, durability, and manufacturability.
Perform simulations, component selection, and compliance-driven design across analog, digital, audio, and RF domains.
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and production engineers to ensure system-level integration and smooth transition to manufacturing.
Support hardware verification and EMC/ESD pre-compliance testing.
Coordinate with external partners for mechanical design and certification testing (e.g. IECEx, CE, FCC).
Contribute to product improvements, root cause analysis, and sustaining engineering of existing products.
Drive continuous improvement of design processes, testing tools, and quality systems.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with the following minimum requirements:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
3–5 years of experience in electronics design and verification.
Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools (e.g. Altium).
Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
Experience building, testing, and debugging embedded hardware prototypes.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working in regulated industries (e.g. medical devices, automotive, defense).
Ideally, you also have these skills:
Familiarity with audio, RF, and wireless communication technologies (e.g. Bluetooth).
Experience with embedded firmware or scripting languages (e.g. Python).
Knowledge of intrinsically safe design and compliance with ATEX, IECEx, CE, and FCC.
Experience managing regulatory approvals and working with external design/manufacturing partners.
Exposure to product lifecycle tools, design control processes, and risk management practices.
Why You?
You're a motivated problem-solver with a passion for embedded systems and audio applications, ready to thrive in a collaborative and tight-knit team. You're eager to own your projects, contribute fresh ideas, and grow alongside a forward-thinking company that values every team member's impact.
