Key Responsibilities
As a senior member of the engineering team, you will lead a team of reliability engineers and manage the challenges of scaling digitization programs.
Develop highly reliable applications with a customer-centric approach, innovating technically and understanding customers' needs.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications' reliability, efficiency, and performance meet customer expectations.
Build deep knowledge of production infrastructure to debug distributed systems problems and identify system improvements.
Manage infrastructure costs and optimize resource utilization for maximum benefit.
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for systems.
Perform observability (alarms, monitoring, synthetics) and error management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering degree is required.
20+ years of IT industry experience with a strong track record of innovation.
Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, microservices, RDBMS, NoSQL databases.
Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, ECS, EKS, SQS, Kinesis.
Observability using Splunk, NewRelic for data-driven decision making.
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for efficient deployments.
APIs and event-driven approaches for scalable architecture.
Security patterns for robust defense.
Unix/Linux systems administration with familiarity in Docker containerization.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of modern software engineering practices and tools - Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical matters in an easy-to-understand way.
Domain knowledge of telecom billing and charging rating systems.
