**THE ROLE**

- Able to work with and build relationships with a variety of people to develop local solutions to local issues?
- Confident in your ability to manage competing government priorities and community expectations?
The Dhelk Dja Regional Coordinator, Loddon Campaspe is central to supporting the Loddon Campaspe Dhelk Dja Action Group in its work toward developing community led initiatives and actions aimed at preventing, reducing and responding to family violence in Aboriginal communities.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Enhance, strengthen and empower local Aboriginal communities by assisting the Dhelk Dja Action Group to develop a range of strategies and plans to address family violence issues. This will include coordinated planning, networking, community education, advocacy and project development.
- Support the Dhelk Dja Action Group to implement strategies and plans and assist delivery within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Provide secretariat support to the Dhelk Dja Action Group meetings by assisting in meeting coordination, venue hire and catering as well as preparing agendas and taking minutes.
