About the PositionWe are actively seeking a multi-skilledLeading Handto join our team at the Jellinbahmine site

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will join our established team at the Jellinbah mine, working a 7/7 day shift only(12hr) roster.

If you are eager to develop into a Site Supervisor down the track, this is the perfect opportunity for you

Core accountabilities include:- Act as a senior member and mentor of the team

- Safe and efficient surface shotfiring operations

- Safe and efficient operation of our Mobile Processing Units (MPUs)

- Identify and plan opportunities for improvement

- Carry out pre-starts

- Regularly carry out workplace Take 5's

- Attend toolbox discussions, and lead as required

- Relief supervisor duties as required

- Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment

About you
• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Experience in operating MPU's and shotfiring operations in an open cut environment essential

• Experience using both Non-Electric and Electronic Blasting Systems (desirable)

• Extensive experience working in the drill & blast industry

• Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency

• Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised

• Excellent organisation and time management

• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

What you need
• Current HR driver's licence

• QLD Shotfirer's ticket

• QLD Security Clearance for handling explosives (or willing to obtain)

• Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)

• Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)

• Relevant RII competencies (RIIBLA201A & RIIBLA203A) highly regarded

• Supervisor training (S1, S2 & S3)

• G2 Implementation of Risk Management (or willing to obtain)
