Job Role Overview
We are seeking individuals to provide direct support and care for customers with disabilities, enabling them to engage actively in their local community and live meaningful lives.
This role requires a range of skills including personal development, community living services, and personal care.
What You Will Do
* Provide day-to-day support, personal care, and personal development for our customers.
* Assist people with disabilities to participate in community activities, promote valued relationships, and engage in meaningful opportunities.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others.
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
* Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including days, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekend shifts.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencing.
* Ability to support others with personal care and domestic duties in a respectful manner.
* Capacity to meet the physical requirements of the job, including manual handling tasks.
* Good computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination.
