Job Title:
Dietitian Consultant
This role entails working as a temporary dietitian in a hospital setting. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, speech pathologists, social workers, physiotherapists, allied health assistants, and a team leader.
* The position involves covering a broad caseload across adults and pediatrics, including patients requiring step down feed and grow, renal, diabetes, gestational diabetes, enteral feeding, and PEG services.
The ideal candidate for this job is an experienced professional with APD status eligibility. They should possess strong skills in patient assessment, meal planning, and education.
Responsibilities:
* To provide expert nutritional advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
* To assess the nutritional needs of patients and develop personalized meal plans.
* To educate patients and their families about healthy eating habits and nutrition-related health issues.
