What's On Offer
We're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team and play a critical role in delivering cost-effective and efficient builds. You'll be responsible for completing take-offs accurately and within budgeted timelines, creating bills of quantity (BOQs), and generating purchase orders for each job to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
Your Impact
* Complete detailed take-offs for residential builds
* Prepare accurate BOQs and purchase orders for each project
* Ensure working drawings, specifications, contracts, and variations align
* Conduct detailed margin analysis
* Resolve ordering oversights and support construction teams with site-related requests
* Identify trends in extra-to-order items and contribute to continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
* Previous production estimating experience with a volume builder
* Tertiary qualifications in building and construction
* Ability to read and interpret architectural working drawings, engineering, soil reports, and specifications
* Strong understanding of residential construction methods
* High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
* Resilience and determination when faced with challenges
