The Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher who will ideally inspire a love of music across the school.
The successful applicant will ideally display strong classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with diverse students, delivering clear and explicit instruction while incorporating creativity, performance, and hands-on music-making. A strong commitment to inclusive practice and supporting the needs of all students is highly desirable. Confidence in leading singing, percussion, or instrumental ensembles is also highly regarded, along with a willingness to support or lead whole-school events such as assemblies and performances.
The ideal applicant should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver an engaging, high-quality Music program from Pre-Primary to Year 3, aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum. Strong organisational skills for planning rehearsals, events, and performance schedules, with the ability to create dynamic lessons that build students' musical skills, confidence, creativity, and enjoyment is highly regarded.
