With strong similarities between automotive and marine engines, your skills will translate seamlessly, and we'll provide the training to fill in the gaps.
This is a chance to combine your trade with your passion for the water, working with a leading Yamaha dealer right here in Belmont.
What you'll do
Service, repair, and troubleshoot outboard engines (specialising in Yamaha).
Fit new boat accessories and perform set-ups.
Carry out in office servicing and repairs across the South-West coastline: from Williamstown to Warrnambool and beyond.
Work as part of a two-person service team in our mobile service vehicle.
Receive factory Yamaha training (online and at Yamaha's Brisbane facility).
Full in-house training for marine systems.
Exposure to a wide variety of work — from recreational boats to commercial contracts.

Work/life balance – Monday to Friday 8.00 to 4.30 pm
Saturday work may be required on occasion by agreement.
What we're looking for
Light Vehicle Trade Qualification (EFI experience).
Interest in marine industry.
Strong mechanical instincts and pride in quality workmanship.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
Good communication and reliability.
Commitment to safe work practices (OH&S;).
Forklift licence (advantageous, but training can be arranged).
