Where you'll be working
Based across Greater Newcastle Community Nursing teams with sites at Newcastle, Raymond Terrace, Wallsend, Windale and Toronto, you'll deliver care throughout Newcastle, Port Stephens and Lake Macquarie LGAs. Working Monday–Friday (8:00am–4:30pm) from Community Health Centres and clients' homes, you'll provide hands‐on nursing where people feel most comfortable. About the role
As a Community Enrolled Nurse, you'll deliver person‐centred, evidence‐based care under the indirect supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs), working alongside clients, families and multidisciplinary teams. Your daily work includes home visits and clinic appointments for wound assessment/management (including compression bandaging), urinary catheter care, palliative support, client prioritisation, timely referrals and clear RN handovers. This varied role lets you build therapeutic relationships while using professional judgement to support safe, independent community living.

* Current AHPRA registration as Enrolled Nurse
* Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence
* Clinical capability in wound care, continence and medication management
* Ability to work independently in community and collaboratively in teams
* Strong communication skills focused on person‐centred care and advocacy
