The Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable NDIS Support Worker to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting people to build skills, increase independence, and engage confidently in their community.
You will work directly with participants in their homes and the community, supporting them in line with their individual goals and NDIS plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred, one-on-one support to NDIS participants
* Assist with daily living activities (personal care, domestic tasks, meal preparation)
* Support community access, social participation, and appointments
* Encourage independence, choice, and capacity building
* Follow individual support plans and behaviour support strategies (where applicable)
* Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the Apoyo team
* Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation in line with NDIS requirements
* Uphold NDIS quality, safety, and safeguarding standards
About You
You genuinely care about the people you support and believe in respecting every individual’s voice, choices, and lived experience.
Essential Requirements
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current Police Check
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Desirable
- Experience working with NDIS participants
- Background in community mental health, disability, or case management
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar
- Experience supporting people with psychosocial disability, intellectual disability, or complex needs
- Experience with community access and capacity-building supports

Pay: $44.00 – $111.00 per hour
