Description Role Overview
We are seeking avisionOSDeveloper to design and implement cutting-edge immersive experiences for Apple Vision Pro. This role focuses on building high-performance spatial applications that blend native Swift/Xcode development, interactive immersive spaces, and advanced video playback, including stereoscopic 180° media and spatial audio.
This position supports Spectrum Front Row, a flagship immersive experience developed in partnership with Apple and the NBA, pushing the boundaries of next-generation sports broadcasting across live and on-demand spatial video.
Key Responsibilities NativevisionOSDevelopment
* Build and ship spatial applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and RealityKit from prototyping to App Store deployment.
* Develop intuitive UI and interaction models forvisionOSwindows, volumes, and immersive spaces.
* Extend and enhance existingVisionOSapplications supporting immersive sports experiences.
Spatial Awareness & Interaction
* Implement hand-tracking and gesture-based interactions.
* Apply spatial computing principles to immersive UX design.
* Collaborate with product and design partners on spatial UX patterns.
Immersive Video & Media Integration
* Implement stereoscopic 180° video, spatial audio, and immersive VOD experiences.
* Integrate high-resolution spatial media into immersive environments.
* Support workflows for live and recorded immersive sports content.
Performance Optimization
* Optimize for high-resolution, low-latency Vision Pro performance.
* Use Instruments and Xcode profiling tools to resolve rendering and playback bottlenecks.
* Ensure stability during live event operations.
Collaboration & Onsite Support
* Work with senior engineers, Apple partners, and production teams.
* Participate in onsite testing and live event support in Denver.
Required Skills & Qualifications Must Have
* visionOS development experience.
* Strong iOS development background.
* Mastery of Swift, SwiftUI, andvisionOSSDK.
* Proficiency with Xcode and debugging tools.
* Experience with ARKit or transferable AR/VR technologies.
* Proven ability to ship applications.
* Strong passion for immersive technologies.
Nice to Have
* Experience with 180° immersive video.
* Live streaming or spatial media background.
* Cross-platform XR experience.
* Familiarity with Reality Composer Pro.
* Hands-on use of Apple Vision Pro.
* Cross-Platform experience: Android, Meta
