Where You'll Be Working
Community and Aged Care Services – Greater Newcastle Sector. Community Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary part-time role based at Eastlakes Community Health Centre in Windale. You'll deliver care to clients across the Eastlakes Local Government Area, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and person-centred support in people's homes.
Located in the Lake Macquarie region, Eastlakes offers a vibrant community with lakes, reserves, and recreational opportunities, with easy access to schools, shops and healthcare services.
About The Role
As a Registered Nurse in community health, you'll deliver evidence-based care that makes a direct difference to people's lives. Your regular roster will see you working every Thursday and Friday one week, alternating to Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday the next, with consistent hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm each day. Your day may include wound assessment and management, medication support, managing PICC lines, portacaths and clexane, continence and catheter care, palliative care support, and general nursing assessments with referrals to other services as required. You'll maintain therapeutic relationships with clients in their homes, while collaborating with colleagues and other providers to deliver seamless care. You'll also embody the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect, and Empowerment in everything you do.

Requirements
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to drive
