About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists to join a privately held, growth-focused Australian business as Head of Acquisitions. This critical leadership role will drive the identification, assessment and execution of strategic site and asset acquisitions, supporting the continued expansion of a national operating network.
This role suits a commercially driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys negotiating complex transactions, and is motivated by the opportunity to influence national growth strategy within a well-capitalised platform.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead national acquisition strategy and pipeline management
* Source, evaluate and negotiate new site and asset opportunities
* Structure and execute transactions, including pricing and commercial terms
* Oversee due diligence, approvals and settlement processes
* Build and maintain relationships with agents, landowners, developers and advisors
* Partner with internal teams to support integration and asset optimisation
* Prepare investment papers and present recommendations to executive leadership
* Track and report on pipeline progress, deal metrics and market intelligence
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in acquisitions across property, infrastructure or operating assets
* Strong negotiation and transactional leadership capability
* Highly commercial, strategic and data-driven mindset
* Ability to structure and execute complex deals independently
* Strong relationship management and stakeholder communication skills
* Comfortable operating at executive level in high-accountability environments
