We’re on the lookout for an organised and proactive Studio Manager to keep a busy creative studio running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where you’ll ensure briefs are clear and correctly allocated, that designers are working to capacity, and that deadlines are consistently met.
About the role
- Freelance position for 2–3 months
- Based onsite in South Melbourne, 5 days per week
- Ideal for someone with proven experience managing studio workflow and creative teams
What you’ll be doing
- Receiving, reviewing and briefing work into the design team
- Scheduling and monitoring workflow to ensure designers are fully utilised
- Tracking deadlines and managing timelines across multiple projects
- Acting as the central point of contact between account teams and designers
- Supporting the studio team to deliver accurate, on-brand work on time
Your background
- Previous experience as a Studio Manager, Traffic Manager or Account Manager role within a creative or design environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and keep projects moving smoothly
- Clear communicator who can translate briefs and manage expectations
- Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
