Front Office Team Leader at Quest Robina
This isn’t just the next role up from receptionist.
We’re looking for someone who can think like a leader, set the right example, and still jump behind the desk when needed. Someone who doesn’t just run shifts but helps shape how we do things around here.
You’ll be working closely with the Front Office Manager, stepping into the role when needed, and playing a key part in building a team that enjoys coming to work and thrives in an environment where hospitality isn't just a role, it's a passion.
The role:
* Supporting and leading the Front Office team day-to-day
* Assisting the team on the desk and to the Front Office Manager by stepping into the role in their absence
* Training, coaching, and developing new and current team members
* Assisting with recruitment and finding the right people for the team
* Creating and managing rosters that make sense for both the business and the team
* Keeping an eye on performance, guest experience, and opportunities to improve both
* Working across departments to keep operations running smoothly
* Maintaining strong financial oversight, including accurate reconciliation of accounts, daily balancing, and identifying any discrepancies before they become issues
* Leading by example in driving revenue by matching the right product to the right guest through thoughtful, needs-based report-building
* Encouraged to think beyond the day-to-day things by bringing ideas to the table and help implementing them
What we’re looking for:
* At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
* Someone who leads by example
* A natural problem solver who stays calm in every situation
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to balance people, performance, and guest experience on a daily basis
* A team player who also isn’t afraid to take ownership
You don’t need to know everything, all we ask for is your willingness to learn, ability to adapt, and think a few steps ahead.

* Availability to work a rotating roster across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
* Full working rights in Australia
* A genuine interest in developing people and improving how things are done
