Role Description
We are seeking passionate and aspiring Support Workers to support our clients, mainly children and young adults, in engaging in new experiences, establishing community connections, developing independent living skills and reaching their personal goals.
Responsibilities
1. Work with a diverse range of ages, disabilities and behaviours;
2. Possess a genuine passion and commitment to making a difference to the lives of people with disability;
3. Demonstrate high levels of trust, honesty and integrity, maintaining professional relationships with all participants;
4. Be computer and mobile phone savvy for accessing work emails and web-based applications such as rosters, case notes and incident reports;
5. Hold a current 'Provide First Aid' certificate;
6. Hold a current Working With Children check;
7. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check;
8. Have a valid Full Australian Driver's License and comprehensively insured vehicle;
9. Ability to provide personal care, including support with Personal Hygiene, bowel care, dressing and hoisting;
10. Willingness to undergo paid training as provided by the organisation;
11. Certificate III or IV in Disability.
