Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Hire Controller for our Williamstown, VIC location. This on-site role involves coordinating hire equipment operations, including managing incoming customer inquiries, processing bookings, scheduling equipment deliveries and pick-ups, and maintaining customer records. The Hire Controller ensures timely communication with customers to deliver exceptional service, while supporting internal teams with operational tasks and inventory management to maintain efficiency.

Qualifications

* Customer Service and Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams, ensuring excellent service delivery.
* Coordination and Scheduling: Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and managing equipment logistics to support smooth operations.
* Administrative and Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, process bookings, and manage inventory efficiently.
* Problem Solving and Time Management: Strong problem‐solving abilities and time‐management skills for troubleshooting and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Knowledge of Access Equipment Industry: Familiarity with access equipment or related industries is highly desirable.
* Technology Proficiency: Competence in using computer software and systems for booking management, scheduling, and customer communication.
* Team and Independent Working: Ability to collaborate with internal teams while also working independently in a dynamic environment.
* Relevant Experience: Prior experience in equipment hire, logistics, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
