Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to lead our cross-border finance team. This pivotal leadership role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical expertise and the ability to drive business outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, with experience in managing complex financial systems and processes. They will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, as well as providing high-quality financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the month-end close process across multiple entities.
* Prepare and present monthly financial reports with variance analysis and commentary.
* Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
* Deliver accurate project reporting, KPI analysis, and ad hoc financial insights.
Budget, Tax & Compliance
* Coordinate annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
* Manage expense controls, supplier arrangements, and corporate credit facilities.
* Ensure statutory compliance, including support for tax and FBT returns.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
* Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash positions.
* Oversee banking activities, reconciliations, and inter-entity transfers.
* Manage loan facilities, debt schedules, and covenant reporting.
Finance Operations & Leadership
* Manage relationships with outsourced payroll providers.
* Establish and optimise offshore finance capabilities in the Philippines.
* Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align finance objectives with organisational strategy.
Requirements
* Candidates must hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* A minimum of five years' experience in a senior accounting or management role is required.
* Proven experience in budgeting, management reporting, and compliance is essential.
* Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills are necessary.
* Strong systems knowledge, including financial software and advanced Excel proficiency, is required.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
