VE Group is expanding across Queensland and seeking experienced Site Engineers to support our civil, road, and infrastructure projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a VE Group Site Engineer, you will play a key role in project planning, delivery and quality outcomes. You will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and Civil & Transport teams to ensure safe, efficient and compliant project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with planning and delivery of civil construction works
* QA documentation, ITPs, NCR management and record keeping
* Surveying, set-out and as‐built verification
* Subcontractor coordination and daily site support
* Monitoring production, cost tracking and progress reporting
* Supporting procurement, scheduling and project administration
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
* Strong background in civil construction with 3+ years in civil construction
* Experience with subcontractor management, HSE compliance and quality control
* Knowledge of Australian Standards, codes and environmental regulations
* Ability to work autonomously and manage daily priorities
* Problem‐solving and risk management on site
* Strong communication, planning and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to work independently and effectively on a FIFO roster across Southeast Queensland and Central Queensland regions
