As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at our 5-star hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that every detail contributes to a seamless and memorable stay for our guests.

To achieve this, we are seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper who can provide hands-on leadership and support to our housekeeping team. This includes training, mentoring, and guiding team members to maintain high standards and encourage continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the hotel industry, preferably within a premier or 5-star property. You will be expected to coach, mentor, and develop motivated housekeeping teams to deliver outstanding results. Additionally, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with practical knowledge of Opera Cloud being highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand, cleanliness, and safety standards
* Oversee the activities of room attendants, housemen, public area cleaners, laundry and uniform staff, and supervisors
* Train, mentor, and support team members to maintain high standards and encourage continuous improvement
* Create and adjust staff rosters to meet operational needs while supporting team wellbeing
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards
* Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies; oversee proper use and care of cleaning equipment
* Respond promptly to guest feedback to improve service quality and enhance guest satisfaction


Qualifications:

* Relevant experience in the hotel industry, preferably within a premier or 5-star property
* Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop motivated housekeeping teams to deliver outstanding results
* Exposure to managing staff rosters, controlling costs, and contributing to performance objectives
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
* Cultural awareness and the ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive work environment across diverse teams
