Overview
Principal People & Culture Business Partner. Trusted adviser to senior leaders, working closely with Deputy Secretaries and Executive Directors to shape and deliver impactful people strategies. Provide strategic and practical guidance on workforce planning, culture and people risks, while managing complex HR matters and supporting senior P&C practitioners. Build strong partnerships and understand business priorities to lead the development of targeted People Plans that strengthen leadership capability and foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Advise senior leaders on workforce planning, culture, people risks and HR matters; support delivery of people strategies that align with business priorities.
* Lead development of targeted People Plans to strengthen leadership capability and foster a high-performing workplace.
* Build strong partnerships with senior P&C practitioners to manage complex HR issues and support portfolio-wide programs.
Qualifications
Mandatory
* Demonstrated capability to provide expert strategic and operational HR advice, influencing senior stakeholders and contributing to positive organisational and workforce outcomes.
Desirable
* Tertiary qualification in a Human Resources or relevant field.
* Understanding of the Victorian Government's organisational context and priorities.
* Experience using various HRIS software programs, preferably HCM Success Factors/SAP.
