About the Role

As a Technical Officer (TGO1), you will play an important role in delivering a high-quality, multi-disciplined pathology service within a regional laboratory setting. Working either independently or as part of a team, you will apply your technical expertise and experience to carry out standardised practices and procedures across a range of laboratory activities. Your contribution ensures accurate, timely, and reliable results that support the broader healthcare community.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to participate in technical projects that require practical knowledge and applied skills. Through hands-on experience and collaboration with colleagues, you will continue to develop your expertise while making a meaningful impact on laboratory operations and patient outcomes. About You

You are a motivated and enthusiastic technical professional with a strong interest in laboratory work. Your combination of qualifications, practical experience, and interpersonal skills allows you to contribute effectively to a collaborative team while delivering high-quality results.

Key requirements include:

* Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a recognised laboratory or technical qualification.
* Experience is preferred, but not essential
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of laboratory principles, science concepts, and Work Health & Safety legislation.
