About The RoleAn outstanding opportunity has become available for a Coal Quality Engineer to join the Technical Services Department at Tarrawonga Mine. What You’ll Do Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor, your duties will include, but not be limited to:Preparing Coal and Parting extraction plans, schedules and forecasts Ensuring that Coal and Parting extraction plans, schedules and forecasts are communicated, understood and delivered. Prepare and communicate reports by collecting, analysing and compiling statistics.Ensure that the quality of coal mining plans and excavation methods are continually improved by reconciling plans, actual performance and variations. This role is critical to ensure the quantity and quality of the product coal delivered to customers.
