About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service representative to join our team at Northern Hire Group Pty Ltd in Echuca, Victoria. This full-time casual role will involve providing exceptional service to our valued clients and supporting our sales and administration processes.
What you'll be doing
* Manage incoming customer inquiries and requests via phone, email and in-person
* Process sales and rental transactions accurately and efficiently
* Provide product information and advice to customers
* Load/unload plant & equipment, including starting motorised equipment
* Demonstrate how to use equipment
* Connection & disconnection of trailers to tow vehicles.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and inventory management
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met
* Contribute to a positive team environment and continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing role, preferably in a sales or administrative environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Proficient in using computer systems and office software
* A positive, cheerful, helpful and team-oriented attitude
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Experience with building & construction plant & equipment would be advantageous.

This position is initially offered as casual employment (of up to 50 hours per week, including a rotational weekend shift) during a probationary period, becoming full-time on successful completion of the probation period.
