ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity for an Inventory Controller to join their Broadmeadows warehouse. The position requires aspects of stock control, inventory, order processing, warehousing and despatch functions, as well as customer relationship management.
DUTIES
Ensure daily /weekly /monthly stock cycle counts /stocktake are completed and are accurate
Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity
Place and receive orders in a timely and accurate manner to meet the production schedule
Provide and guidance in regard to inventory management matters to ensure inventory accuracy and effectiveness objectives are being achieved
Provide inventory reports as directed by the Site Management Team
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Ideally, 3 years in a logistics warehouse setting
Exposure to inbound receipting of goods is an advantage
Ability to develop and implement improvement programs
Hands-on approach to stock handling
Forklift Licence
