An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our Australia Zoo team in a Full Time capacity as a HR and Training Officer

This role will assist in building leadership and staff capabilities in critical areas, and be the key driving force behind all training programs.
A successful applicant must be enthusiastic, confident and able to demonstrate a high level of work-ethic and initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordination of all internal and external training for staff and volunteers
* Maintain and audit all training and HR records, schedules and the internal HRIS and LMS platforms
* Conduct training needs analysis in conjunction with managers to ensure training needs are met
* Assist with general HR services such as recruitment, performance management, performance review processes and projects
* Collaborate with management to develop training pathways that support continued professional development
* Monitor a training budget to ensure all training is cost-effective
* Meet with key stakeholders to discuss Departmental training needs
* Ensure assigned training is being completed in the appropriate timeframes and follow up when overdue
* Submit a weekly comprehensive training report (course progression, creation, future courses)
What You Will Bring:
* Strong background in HR and Training coordination or similar admin role
* Qualification in HR, Education or Training
* Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
* Ability to build strong rapport with employees and managers
* Advanced computer literacy and prior knowledge of building and developing training programs
