Empowering You Disability Services provides a range of support services tailored to individuals with disabilities, including personal care assistance, transportation assistance, companionship, and skill-building activities.
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and proactive NDIS Support Workers to join our growing team in Hervey Bay and Maryborough. You will provide one-on-one support to NDIS participants in the community and/or at home, depending on their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personal care (e.g., showering, dressing, toileting)
* Domestic assistance (e.g., cleaning, cooking, laundry)
* Community access (e.g., attending appointments, social outings, shopping)
* Transportation assistance
* Supporting independence and skill development
* Maintaining accurate records and progress notes
Requirements:
* Previous experience in disability, aged care, or a similar role (preferred but not essential)
* Current First Aid and CPR certificate
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Working With Children Check
* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathy, patience, and a person-centred approach
