Lifeline Medicals Pty Ltd is a leading healthcare group with multiple General Practice, Dental, Radiology services across metropolitan and regional Victoria. We are expanding rapidly and seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team and support our growing healthcare infrastructure.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on, proactive IT Technician to manage and support the IT needs across our medical and dental centres. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting digital health infrastructure including EMR systems, imaging platforms, and secure networks in a healthcare-compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and maintain servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
* Set up and support EMR systems (Best Practice, Dentally, QUBS), RIS/PACS, and telehealth platforms.
* Manage VPNs, secure messaging systems (HealthLink), and cybersecurity protocols.
* Coordinate with clinical teams and external vendors for system upgrades and issue resolution.
* Provide remote and on-site technical support across multiple clinic locations.
* Ensure compliance with Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and healthcare data standards.
About You
* Minimum 3- 5 years' experience in a similar IT support or systems administration role.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
* Strong working knowledge of networking, Windows servers, and healthcare-specific systems (desirable).
* Experience with EMR, radiology, dental or aged care systems highly regarded.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed.
