Located in Stuart approximately 12 kilometres south of Townsville, the unofficial capital of North Queensland, the JBS Townsville processing facility produces a range of grass - fed beef products. The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a current processing capacity of 714 head of beef cattle per day, operating 5 day rotating roster (4-day weekend every five (5) weeks). About the Role
An exciting opportunity for Labourers exists at our Townsville, QLD facility. We have 40 positions available. These are full-time permanent positions earning $27.93 (Level 7) per hour as an entry level per the JBS Australia Pty Limited – Townsville Enterprise Agreement 2024.
Your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Perform basic routine tasks and/or operate equipment requiring little or no previous training or experience.
* Exercise minimal discretion in deciding how tasks are to be performed.
* Applies basic hygiene procedures.
* Is required to meet basic quality requirements.
* Indicative tasks include: Whizard Knife Operator, General Labourer, Cryovac Packaging, Beef Pushing, Loading
* 5am start daily.

* Must be reliable and punctual and adhere to work and health and safety rules and regulations
* Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced, manual handling and labour-intensive environment
* Willing to undergo Q Fever Vaccination, or have completed Q Fever Vaccination
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Must have full working rights
