Job Overview
The position of Food and Beverage Supervisor involves overseeing staff in assigned areas, coordinating daily operations, and maintaining high standards of guest service, team member development, and morale. This role requires strong leadership skills to ensure efficient performance and effective communication among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise hourly staff members in designated areas.
* Post weekly schedules for staff according to business volume.
* Maintain a high standard of professionalism and work well with all team members.
* Ensure presentation quality and timeliness of orders for guest satisfaction.
* Provide courteous guest service and adhere to Guest Service Standards.
* Coordinate work areas, schedules, or duties as assigned.
* Order products as needed to maintain par levels.
* Document significant occurrences for managers using appropriate tools.
* Lead by example and assist team members on assigned shifts.
* Adjust ticket transactions following approved procedures.
* Monitor time reports for the department.
* Assist with end-of-month inventory.
* Work cooperatively with multiple departments to monitor and control alcoholic beverage sales and service.
* Provide coaching and counseling, monitor performance, and conduct necessary team member conversations.
* Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order.
Requirements:
* 21 years old minimum.
* High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
* Associate degree in Hospitality or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Supervisory experience in hospitality operations with emphasis on full-service food and beverage service preferred.
* Complete ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service certification or have current proof of certification.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Excellent guest service skills.
* Ability to learn and operate point-of-sale system.
* Sound judgment and reasoning.
* Cash-handling skills.
* Proficient English communication.
* PASS a mandatory drug test.
* Obtain a valid gaming license.
* Provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
