Payroll Expert
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and maintaining payroll records.
* Process and administer payroll for employees accurately and on time.
* Ensure compliance with relevant payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
* Calculate wages, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.
* Maintain and update payroll records and employee data.
* Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare payroll reports.
* Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management.
* Collaborate with HR and Finance departments for smooth payroll operations.
* Assist with audits and year-end payroll activities, including tax filings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of payroll procedures, payroll software, and applicable laws.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in MS Excel and payroll software (e.g. Xero, ADP, SAP, QuickBooks).
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant certification in payroll or accounting is a plus.
