The Katherine Women's Crisis Centre (KWCC) offers safe, supportive accommodation for women and children affected by domestic and family violence. We provide a healing environment that empowers women by respecting their choices and supporting their journey.
Our trauma-informed services aim to ensure safety and wellbeing for women and children. KWCC also works collaboratively with other service providers to drive systemic change and help families escape violence.

About the Role
As the Coordinator, you will lead a team of support workers to deliver high-quality, client-focused services that align with KWCC's values and philosophy. You will ensure compliance with relevant legislation, government policies, and professional standards, keeping the team informed of any updates.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing leadership, supervision, and direction to program staff
* Managing physical and operational resources for the crisis accommodation service
* Ensuring services meet the needs of clients and reflect trauma-informed best practices
* Contributing to the overall success and development of KWCC through additional relevant duties

Selection Criteria
* Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Development, Social Science, Human Resources, or a related field
* Strong understanding of domestic, family, and sexual violence
* Knowledge of relevant NT and Australian legislation
* Familiarity with trauma-informed, strength-based frameworks and guidelines
* Minimum 2 years' experience in program coordination and leadership
* Experience in case management
* Cultural competency, particularly in working with CALD communities
* Understanding of mandatory reporting requirements for DFSV and child protection
* Current Australian Police Check
* Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance)
* Valid driver's licence
