We're looking for a qualified WHS professional with a friendly, proactive, and outgoing nature to help support a safe and memorable experience for staff, contractors, and visitors. Your new role
* Conduct and support incident investigations, including the development of effective corrective and preventative actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
* Engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, providing consultation, coaching, and training on WHS matters.
* Deliver operational WHS support and guidance to teams across the organisation.
* Coordinate and conduct WHS inspections, audits, and workplace assessments as required.
* Assist in monitoring WHS performance and compliance activities.
* Provide general support to the WHS Manager, contributing to projects, reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
* Relevant qualification and demonstrated experience in Work Health and Safety.
* Strong understanding and practical application of:
* Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA)
* WHS (General) Regulations 2022
* Approved Codes of Practice and supporting guidance materials.
* Proven experience leading and supporting detailed incident and injury investigations, using methodologies such as ICAM, 5 Whys, or equivalent frameworks.
* Experience conducting risk assessments and hazard identification across environments such as:
* Construction and maintenance works
* Mobile plant and equipment
* Traffic and pedestrian management
* Contractor management
* Hazardous substances
* Ability to interpret WHS data, trends, and emerging risks, and integrate findings into operational safety practices.
* Demonstrated experience facilitating WHS consultation processes and managing stakeholder relationships.
* High level of computer literacy with strong communication, documentation, and report‑writing abilities.
* Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic operational environment.
