We are seeking a highly skilled ILS Engineer to join our team in support of Defence projects across Land systems.
This contract position will run through September 2026 and offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise in logistics support analysis, maintainability, and reliability.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing, leading and developing ILS plans and associated deliverables in support of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage and lead the development of ILS plans
* Develop concepts to inform planning for sustainment strategies and engagement
* Provide ILS input to the tender and bid process
* Lifecycle Cost (LCC) activities
* ILS management including planning and controlling delivery of ILS documentation and data
* Perform logistic support analysis, maintainability, and reliability
* Review and approve ILS documentation and data
* Liaise with relevant stakeholders
* Provide guidance on Logistic Engineering analysis processes
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Cert IV in applicable trade
* Extensive ILS Engineering experience within Defence Industry
* Experience with acceptance of product from design and development
* Experience in writing and updating project documents and ILS plans
* Understanding of Defence Regulatory and Security frameworks
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain working relationships
* Current NV1 or higher ADF Security Clearance
