Shape international research delivery as Project Manager

The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to support a dynamic Precision Medicine research program, including an internationally coordinated Australian Breast Cancer Family Registry. Working across Monash University, Monash Health, the University of Melbourne and national and international partners, the role will coordinate multi-site activity, strengthen strategic partnerships and ensure high-quality, impactful research delivery.
The Project Manager will lead projects from initiation to completion, applying contemporary methodologies to manage scope, budgets, risk and performance. The role ensures recruitment targets, protocol compliance, ethics approvals, contracts, grant submissions and financial reporting are delivered accurately and on time. The position also oversees resources, stakeholder engagement and team coordination, while providing strategic advice and strengthening program systems and processes.
We are seeking someone with postgraduate qualifications, or equivalent extensive experience, in a relevant clinical, scientific, business or public health discipline, together with a strong track record in managing complex projects within life sciences, health or translational research environments. Highly developed organisational, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as is demonstrated experience leading professional teams, managing budgets and working with project management software. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to high-impact research within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
We encourage applications from experienced project professionals who are motivated to play a key role in advancing precision medicine research.
Monash University seeks applicants for this opportunity who are able to demonstrate present valid and current Australian work rights.
