* Provide administrative, travel, event, and outreach support to the Pathways & Engagement team while assisting delivery of the Bidjipidji First Nations educational pathway program.
About the Position
As the Bidjipidji First Nations Outreach Support Officer, you will support the Pathways & Engagement team, focusing on the Bidjipidji Pathways Program – the First Nations educational pathway initiative designed to strengthen aspirations, readiness, and transition into Charles Darwin University. You will deliver efficient and professional administrative services to the Pathways & Engagement Manager and students, including office administration, finance processes and reporting, communications, and record and database management. You will coordinate students and staff travel, accommodation, catering and events that support student engagement and equity initiatives, and regularly travel to local schools and remote communities to support outreach activities.
About You
* Completion of a Certificate IV and extensive relevant or transferable work experience, OR an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/ training in an office administration environment.
* Sound written communication skills, with the ability to respond to enquiries in writing and liaise with other teams across the University.
* Demonstrated experience of high level organisational, problem solving, and administrative skills including the ability to create, produce and interpret reports, a high level of attention for detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discern sensitive issues.
* High degree of motivation, innovation, responsibility, and ability to meet work schedules and with the ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks under time constraints.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with internal and external clients.
* Experience working in a team of customer service staff (in the vocational or higher education sector preferred) including collaborating to achieve shared goals.
* Demonstrated computer competency and sound keyboard skills with the ability to enter data, text and figures accurately using a variety of information technology systems, including the proficient use of MS Office applications, in particular Microsoft Excel.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $75,927 – $87,716 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $88,834 - $102,627 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
