About the role The Student Assessment Officer is an exciting position that will provide the successful candidate with invaluable on the job experience whilst working towards achieving a planning related qualification. This position plays an important role in supporting the Development Assessment branch to operate within the principles of best practice whilst also delivering on business excellence. The team are embarking on a period of significant transformation and reform and are committed to delivering and exceeding the expectations of the Hawkesbury community and the development industry. About You You will be highly motivated and currently enrolled in tertiary study, working towards a planning qualification. You will be a fast learner with a strong work ethic and you will be keen to apply your studies to efficiently and effectively process development and associated applications submitted to Council. You will be committed to providing excellent customer service and delivering the best outcome for both Council and the Community that we serve.
