About the Role
Are you passionate about empowering students and shaping global education pathways? Curtin University is seeking a highly motivated Project Officer with proven experience in a student‑centric function to join our Global Curtin team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Deputy Director, Strategic Business Development to support the Global 500 initiative, which aims to foster global student mobility and expand recruitment into Curtin's international campuses. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact by building new student pipelines and creating life‑changing global opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Manage and facilitate project communications and liaise with relevant stakeholders to coordinate their input to the project.
* Assist with the development of relevant case and project initiation documentation (PID) as required, including timelines, implementation and evaluation methods and communication strategies.
* Track activities against project schedules, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.
* Analyse data and prepare project reports.
* Resolve operational problems and facilitate the development and implementation of initiatives, processes and systems for effective and efficient administration of the project.
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated project management and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate activities, manage competing tasks, and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse groups and draft clear, concise reports.
* Demonstrated research and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to new technologies, methods, and processes for continuous improvement.
* Proven teamwork skills, including respecting diversity, leading and supporting others, following direction, and working toward shared goals.
* Previous experience working in a student‑centric function.
Role Requirements
* As this is a fixed‑term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
