Support Worker Role
This role involves assisting adults with disabilities to maintain their independence and participate in daily activities. Key responsibilities include helping clients with personal care and daily living skills, planning and attending appointments and social activities, and completing administrative tasks.
Requirements for the position include relevant experience in a care or support role, a current NSW Drivers Licence, a valid First Aid & CPR Certificate, and a paid Working with Children Check. Additionally, candidates should be willing to work across a 24/7 roster including mornings, evenings and sleepover shifts.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. A willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations is also essential.
