We're looking for passionate childcare assistants to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn through play.
This role will be at Gwydir Daycare and Preschool in Moree – an essential part of our Early Childhood & Care team.
Job Details
Permanent or Full-Time, Part-time or Casual – up to 38 hours per week.
Salary: $1,****** – $1,****** per week (Permanent).
Casuals $***** – $***** per hour (25% leave loading).
Retention payments under the Local Government Splinter Award.
12 % Superannuation contribution.
Location: Moree.

Responsibilities
Assist in delivering fun, play-based learning experiences that support each child's growth and curiosity.
Create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment so children feel secure and confident.
Partner with families and educators to support each child's wellbeing and development.
Celebrate milestones, document learning, and help children explore the world.
Be part of a passionate team that values teamwork, creativity, and compassion.
Desired Skills and Experience
Genuine love for working with children and desire to inspire the next generation.
Completed or actively working toward a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Prior experience working with young children (8 weeks to 5 years) and the ability to build positive relationships.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both children and adults.
Effective organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
Demonstrated ability to assist in developing creative and stimulating programs based on children's interests and needs.
Commitment to child safety, inclusion, and continuous professional learning.
Current or willingness to obtain:
NSW Working With Children Check clearance.
HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training).
Maintain evidence of current immunisation for Whooping Cough, Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Chickenpox, Hepatitis A and B, and Seasonal Influenza.
